Fresh particulars have surfaced regarding the untimely deaths of esteemed filmmaker Rob Reiner and visual artist Michele Singer Reiner, whose remains were located at their residence home on Sunday.

A source indicates quoting a confidential source, a practitioner arriving for an appointment initially became concerned after being unable to gain access the home. The therapist then contacted the couple's daughter, Romy Reiner, who lives nearby.

After gaining access to the house, Romy came upon her father's body. It is said she then left the home distraught, without knowing at that moment that her mother's body was also inside. A companion who had accompanied her contacted 911. Subsequently, emergency responders discovered Michele Singer Reiner's body.

Criminal Charges

Law enforcement have formally accused the couple's 32-year-old son, Nick Reiner, with the charges of murder in the first degree, along with the use of a dangerous weapon, reportedly a knife. He is presently being held without bail.

The anonymous source also disputed several earlier details. They said that while Romy Reiner told first responders that her brother Nick resided in a guesthouse on the grounds, she did not identify him as a suspect at that juncture.

As stated by law enforcement sources, the medical examiner had still not confirmed at that point whether the Reiners died Saturday night or on Sunday. Preliminary media reports noted the state of their bodies implied they had been dead for a number of hours.

Nick Reiner was taken into custody at around 9:30 p.m. on Sunday in the Exposition Park, some 15 miles from the family home. He was set to appear in court on Tuesday, but his attorney, Alan Jackson, said his client had a medical issue and would not appear until no sooner than Wednesday.
