Lawmakers from the Democratic party expressed anger after the ex-president accused a coalition of Democratic representatives of being "turncoats" and declared they should be taken into custody and sentenced "with execution" following their posting of a controversial video.

The Message That Triggered the Debate

The video footage, released on earlier this week, includes six Democratic lawmakers who previously acted in defense or intelligence capacities.

"Like us, you all made an pledge to defend and support this founding document," the lawmakers declared in the 90-second video. "And right now, the risks to our democratic foundation aren't just from overseas, but from within our own country. Our regulations are unambiguous, you can decline improper directives, you can refuse unlawful commands, you should refuse illegal orders. The Former President's Angry Reply
